The Red Kite Reintroduction Project is managed by the
Golden Eagle Trust Limited in partnership with the
National Parks and Wildlife Service of the Dept. of Environment, Heritage and Local Government and the
Welsh Kite Trust.
The programme seeks to reestablish a viable self-sustaining breeding population of red kites in the east Ireland after an absence of over 200 years.
